E -Bikes : Know the law!

You can ride an electric bike (EAPC) without a licence or insurance if you're 14 or older—but only if it meets the rules:

❌ If it doesn’t meet these rules, it’s classed as a moped/motorbike and needs tax, insurance, and a licence.#

👮‍♀️ It’s illegal to allow anyone under 14 to ride an e-bike on public roads. Parents or guardians could face prosecution under the Road Traffic Act 1988.
